Mae Geri
The basic front 'snap' kick is a very useful weapon. Remember to
bring your foot back as fast, if not faster, than your kick so that your
opponent cannot grab hold of your leg.
Yoko Geri Kegomi
Probably the most powerful kick in Shotokan, yoko geri kegomi uses
the heel as a striking device. Again note how the leg is withdrawn
immediately after the kick makes contact.
Yoko Geri Keagi
Often taught as a defensive kick yoko geri keagi will test your hip and knee flexibility.
